Indian World Cup

Federation International Indian Biathlon (FIIB) is honored to present you with the project of the Indian World Cup (IWC).

Indian Biathlon – is a new type of sports. It encompasses three rounds of canoeing (each of 500 metres) and two rounds of archery in between (five throws at five aims).

FIIB is considering organizing the different stages of IWC in Brazil, Peru, Canada, USA, Canary Islands, Moscow, Australia, one of the countries of the Pacific region, Western Europe and probably others.

The main idea behind organizing the different stages of the IWC for FIIB is to create a sport-cultural show. The competition of IWC – includes the «sports» part of the show, which demonstrates the movement (by canoes) and way of hunting (archery) of the natives of many countries of the world. In the «cultural» part of the show, FIIB would like to see a demonstration of traditional costumes and dresses, articles of culture and urban life, musical instruments, traditional and ritual dancing and music, games and competitions between the natives of the countries organizing the different stages of the IWC. Each stage of the IWC must have its own national identity. Indian World Cup – is a brand name and is an indispensable part of the name of all of these stages, regardless of where they are being organized. FIIB grants the organizers of each stage the exclusive right to add to the brand name the name of the tribe of the natives, city, state, logo of a company – the general sponsor or even the name of the owner. For example the name of the IWC stage that will take place in Peru can be called: Inca Indian World Cup or in Mexico – Cancun Indian World Cup or Maya Indian World Cup.

IWC is created by the President of FIIB – Dr. Valery Krylov. The Cup is an exact copy of the «Temple of Law» in the town of Palenke (Mexico), made from green marble. On the top of the pyramid – the figure of an Indian, aiming with an arch while standing on his knees in the canoe. The figure and the canoe are made of 600 gm of 925 silver with gold plating. The author – a famous jeweler Peter Panchenko. Total cost of the Cup is $ 19,850.

The winners of the IWC will be selected according to the sum of positions won by each participant during a number of competitions within a year. The names of the winners will be engraved on the IWC pyramid as in the «Temple of Signatures».

The organization of a yearly exotic event, with an official status of a «World Cup», in an organic combination of the natives/traditional cultural program will certainly attract the biggest international TV channels and press, which will help the development of tourism in your country.

Dear Sirs, FIIB is offering you the opportunity of organizing the next stage of IWC in your country. FIIB will grant the organizers exclusive rights for TV translation and advertising if the interested parties in your city can finance the next stage of the IWC. FIIB will take the responsibility of the organization and implementation of the event. Should the need arise, FIIB will be ready to offer a knowledgeable producer for this sport-cultural event.
