Is a sports scientist; a specialist on psycho-physiological rehabilitation of sportsmen. He directly participated in training of 67 Soviet and Russian sportsmen who won gold medals in the Olympic Games, World and European Championships. He worked with ex-champion of the world on chess Anatoly Karpov for many years. He has worked with champion of the world on chess Vladimir Kramnik for last five years. He is a prize-winner of the All-Soviet contest for the best research work in the field of sports.
